I received my speakers very well packaged and in about a week. Unpackaged and wired up to my onkyo receiver as the L/R fronts. they replaced a pair of Polk TSi200 bookshelf speakers which are tiny compared to these beasts. They handle everything my older Onkyo HTS-5300 can throw at them, and makes the receiver sound better than it is. They have the dual 8" woofers and a huge bass port at the bottom so if you have little kids, keep the grills on or toys could end up inside! The grills are beautiful as well with a nice shiny metallic "POLK" logo at the top, not the bottom, very classy. The cabinets are very sturdy, and the finish is excellent for the price. They handle the midrange and highs very well. The lower range is good, but if you like deep bass, you will still need a sub. I have 2 Polk PSW505 subs, which I also highly recommend. As for these, the TSX550 towers, They are excellent, powerful, quality speakers for this price. Polk Audio makes great speakers.
