I have owned many bookshelf speakers in the past 20 years, for example JBL Studio series, B&W 602, Klipshe, Energy Veritas, Yamaha, and KEF Q series. And I am very happy to find Jamo D430 for sale at Amozon.
Jamo was founded in Denmark and the brand is well known in Europe, the company was acquired by Klipshe some years ago. The D430 is the last generation still designed and made by Jamo before Klipshe took over. The Jamo D430 has been discontinued and is replaced by Jamo C803. To be honest I haven't heard C803 and can't comment on them. But I believe D430 is a much better speaker with much better components, it uses famous Vifa Dual Ring Radiator tweeter, the similar version of this tweeter had been used in many hi-end high priced speakers, the woofer used in D430 is also made by Vifa with wood fiber cone and Magnesium basket and Aluminum phase plug.
The cabinet of D430 is made of heavy MDF board, the front baffle is in curved shape which helps reducing standing...
I think, explains the few grievance apropos JAMO D 430 2-Way Speaker System for Home Theater (Dark Apple) not fitting or leaking.
