Review : Big in-walls sound great!
My star rating may not be accurate because I've listened to these in the open, not installed in the walls. Installation will come later and I may revise my rating, if I remember to.

In the open the speakers really sounded great. I was surprised by the bass output, even with the switch set to -3db. The manual explains that the bass switch varies the impedence (+3db = 4 ohms, 0db = 5 ohms, -3db = 6 ohms). My amplifier could probably push 4 ohms, but a 6 ohm load is much easier for it, and the speakers still kicked out a lot of bass.

The tweeter also has a +3/0/-3db switch, and the tweeter can be aimed a little bit which is useful if you can't mount the speakers exactly where you want to.

I was concerned about not having the optional mounting boxes, but after examining the mounting mechanism it looks like they'll mount to drywall just fine without the boxes. I wonder if the boxes would improve their sound? It doesn't really matter since I couldn't find...
