Review : Incredible sound from small speakers
Since quality of sound is such a subjective thing, let me give some background so you know where I'm coming from. I'm not exactly a huge audiophile, but I care enough about sound quality that I tend to buy Shure earbuds for my iPod, spent quite a few hours testing audio quality for different ripping/bit rates when converting my CDs, and generally want something that sounds much better than just average. My main constraint in buying surround speakers was the spouse factor... I was not going to get away with huge speakers and a large subwoofer. Finally, I went from just a pair of Sony bookshelf speakers to this system.
Ok, with that out of the way, back to the sound: It is really awesome. These are in a big open room, with tall ceilings and where the home theater is in one corner of the room.
