Excellent speakers. Chose them over similar 2.0 bookshelf speaker systems partly because they look so awesome. But the sound these things crank out is amazing. Very wide and deep soundstage - positioning is incredible. You almost can't tell if the sound is coming out of those boxes or somewhere else. Bass is tight and not too overpowering. If you're used to a subwoofer, you may miss some of the lower end.
I believe, explains the few grievance on KEF X300A Digital Hi-Fi Speaker System (Black, Pair) not fitting or leaking.
