Review : Better than I hoped for
I recently purchased a 55" Sumsung LED Smart TV and wall mounted it using the Cheetah wall mount model AP SAMB 32-55". The room is actually an open floor plan kitchen, dining room, and living room, measuring 27' x 30'. This mount allows me to angle the TV left to right, up to 90 degrees from the wall. This feature however, does not work well with a conventional 5:1 sound system. After weeks of researching soundbars, I was skeptical about purchasing one, mainly because of the "lack of sound" comments in larger rooms. I also wanted a soundbar that was the same length as the TV, but that was not an easy task either. Finally, I came across the Polk CHT 500, which matches the TV length at 49". Cool! But, there are no reviews, needs an A/V receiver, comes with a SDA box which I'm not familiar with, and is a bit pricey. Well, someone has to be the tip of the sword.
