These QS8 Surround Speaker - Light Maple way out perform every other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are hight quality with low price.

I have owned QS8's, M60's, VP 100 for over 4 years. Mine are in the Mansfield Beech finish. I just picked up QS8's, VP 100, M22's in the Light Maple finish as a gift. The Light Maple finish dissapear in the room better than the Mansfield Beech. The Light Maple are more of a wood finish than they appear on most monitors. They are not a stark white.
I would pick up the Light Maple if I were to replace mine. That will never happen. These are a lifetime investment for me.
I do not consider myself to be an audiophyle. I can play these at higher volumes than I can stand with no distortion . My system is using an Onkyo 901 with 110 WPC. My nephews system is using an Onkyo 805 with 130 WPC.
The only way that I know how loud they are is when I try to talk and cannot be heard. It is fun to watch the reaction of my cat and visiting dogs to the surround systems. They obviously believe that the sounds are real. Their hearing is better than mine. I would take their advice and...
I think, explains the few gripe on QS8 Surround Speaker - Light Maple not fitting or leaking.
