Review : Surprisingly great sound
I'm really quite pleased with these speakers. I went with three of the AIM8-Threes for the fronts and two B&W's for the rears. The build quality, fit and finish are phenomenal and they sound fantastic. For their price I was very impressed. Once you add in the sexiness factor its hard to beat them.
Install was fairly painless. You'll want to make sure you have enough room between ceiling joists. If these had been even a fraction large I wouldn't have been able to make them fit. As is, we had to measure from dead on the center and hope for the best. The provided template is decent though I wish they had marked the center. We ended up tracing the template out on a piece of paper then folding it in half twice to find the center. Then used that to mark the center on the template. Nothing a little common sense couldn't figure out but annoying none the less.
The template is EXACTLY the right size. We cut a little smaller then shaved out to the line just to be sure. It's...
