Review : You won't be disappointed
Big-time, room-filling sound out of this soundbar/sub combo. I started with AVSForum and saw a recommendation for this combination, and I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations. It is a little larger than I envisioned, so you will want to be sure you have enough room for the sub and a reasonably large, stable surface upon which to place the soundbar itself. That being said, I have what I consider to be a "normal-sized" living room, and this combination paired with a Denon AVR-2312CI receiver (also thanks to Amazon) fills the room with very balanced sound. As others have said, keep most music on a "Stereo" setting for best results with these speakers, but feel free to play with the surround modes on your receiver for movies, games, etc. With my setup, I set the sub to let the receiver handle the crossover duties, and set the crossover frequency at 100 Hz.
