I have been take Canton Ergo 690 DC Speaker (Cherry, Each) for the past almost 1 year. Canton Ergo 690 DC Speaker (Cherry, Each) wuth brand "Canton" could be the best Floorstanding Speakers on the market.

These Canton Ergo 690 DC Speaker (Cherry, Each) way out perform every other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are hight quality with low price.
Canton's Ergo 690 DC is a three-way floorstanding speaker. Able to handle up to 320 watts, each cherry-veneered enclosure houses two 8-inch aluminum wave surround woofers, a 7-inch aluminum wave surround midrange driver, and a 1-inch aluminum-manganese tweeter. The Ergo 690 DC features DC technology, which allows the speaker to provide sharp, precise bass reproduction at much lower frequencies than can be attained with conventional crossover designs.

I have had the Canton Ergo 690 DC speakers for a month or so and words cannot fully describe how happy I am with them. They are the perfect fusion of great sound and beautiful aesthetics. I have them paired with a Pioneer Elite SC-37 receiver which isn't the best when it comes to hi-fi sound quality yet the speakers sound amazing. Bass is taught and full but not overbearing. The highs are perfect and detailed without being harsh. The midrange is accurate and voices sound authentic. I have several pairs of very nice speakers, such as Celestion Ditton 66, Celestion Ditton 662, Infinity RS3, Canton Ergo 70, KEF iQ1, DCM TF1000, Acoustic Research AR-9 (Teledyne version) to name a few and these Cantons are my favorite.
I haven't heard many modern high end speakers though so take my opinion with a grain of salt but they sure sound better (to me) than all the vintage speakers I have owned and listened to.
I believe, explains the few grievance on Canton Ergo 690 DC Speaker (Cherry, Each) not fitting or leaking.
