Review : Excellent sound performance to value ratio
As someone looking for a clean budget 2.1 setup, I was pleasantly surprised to run across these speakers as a $99/each deal of the day. Would I pay the ~$150 they usually sell for? Absolutely! Here's why:
LOOKS - these are great looking speakers, thought not as attractive as other high end options in my opinion. If you leave the speaker grills off -- the speaker mounting pegs are slim and don't take much away from the overall appearance. I also do not find the Energy logo particularly attractive.
CONSTRUCTION - these speakers appear well made, though the cardboard port cheapened the feel slightly. The feet are solid and stable. The transition from the glossy front to the matte sides is well executed. I did notice a small scuff mark on the top corner of one of my cabinets - not enough for me to care about...but I do wonder how it got there, because I know I didn't do it.
SOUND - These speakers allowed me to keep cost down without sacrificing...
I believe, explains the few grievance apropos Energy CF-30 Floorstanding/Tower Speaker (Black), Each not fitting or leaking.
