Review : Bought for speakers alone
My mom bought me Jambox for Christmas and I instantly knew I was going to return it. The smaller one just didn't have enough sound. So I compared all of the speakers in Best Buy and Verizon and these speakers were the best bang for my buck. I got Verizon to bring the price down to $179.99, so I am rather lucky. But even if I didn't, I'd pay the $299.99 for the speakers alone. I can't charge my iPhone 5 wirelessly and I can't use NFC, but the speaker itself is worth the money I spent. I love it! The only speakers comparable were BOSE, and those speakers are $349.99. Even if you don't have a Windows phone or an NFC phone, get these speakers!
The reason I gave 4 stars: The Bluetooth can only go so far (like one room away tops) and the speakers themselves aren't wireless. They must be plugged in at all times. Other than that, the sound quality is excellent and you get what you pay for with JBL!
