I purchased this home theatre speaker system as an upgrade to my Bose Acoustimass 3 Series 4 system. Defiinitive Technology was recommended by Consumer Reports. I paired the system with a Yamaha RX - V567 av receiver using Mediabridge ultra series pure copper cables and dual shielded subwoofer cable for the connections. Why white? Because it passed the 'wife test' - attractive but inconspicuous in our white cloud walled living room!
The sound is awesome! Whether I am playing movies on my (Panasonic) Blu Ray disc player or listening to mp3s in my iTunes music library or just watching tv (42in Panasonic Viera plasma), the sound is awesome!
