Review : Really pleased with these speakers
I'll write a longer review when I have broken these speakers in but so far after about 20 hours or so I am hooked! The folded motion tweeter is really different - in a good way. If you like the treble really cranked in your speakers these may not be for you. The treble is not lacking in any way but not the hyper treble some manufactures are putting in their speakers to try and over come the speakers inability to deliver a natural sounding transient response. In not geek speaker speak terms this refers to attack. Imagine the sound of a snare drum. The better the speaker's transient response the more life like the sound of the snare drum. These tweeters really have a nice sound that blends well down into the mid-range so the speakers do not exhibit the usual perceived lack of mid-range that so often happens when crossing over to the mid-bass driver. Thew mid-bass driver is punchy. I cannot attest to how low these speakers play due to the fact that the room these speakers play in is...
I believe, explains the few gripe respecting MartinLogan Motion 15 Gloss Black Bookshelf Loudspeaker not fitting or leaking.
