These DALI - ZENSOR 1 - Bookshelf Speaker in Black (pr) way out perform every other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with cheap price.

1. Exteriors
Very smart looking little speaker. Classic finish and no nonsense approach to quality. Excellent connectors for incoming signal. I keep the grill on - very clean front. "Designed and Engineered in Denmark" stamped neatly at the back. The walnut finish has a luxurious, rich look. The correct lighting is important for the Walnut finish to look it's best.
2. Sound
Positioning is Key ; Ensure that you can barely see the top of the speaker(a tip I picked up from the Dali website)to get the tweeter axis just slightly beneath ear level. Rear ported so need to be well away from the wall and corners if possible. On the other hand near wall positioning increases the bass dramatically as it has a rear firing port. Move them around a bit and...
I think, explains the few gripe on DALI - ZENSOR 1 - Bookshelf Speaker in Black (pr) not fitting or leaking.
