I did not purchase this item from Amazon, but I feel it is important to review this product. Currently, I have Bowers and Wilkins 684 speakers which retail for around double this speaker. They are powered by a high-end Denon receiver. I got these as a replacement for my B&W's while one is repaired, and I would use the polk's for the time being, and move them to my other TV after getting the B&W back. I am not a huge fan of Polk. I have a set of fxi A4's and they are fantastic, but as a company I never really caught on. In my youth I bought a polk subwoofer and it was, to be kind, not the best. The TSx line was newer, and I did not want to spend a huge amount of money, so I went with these. They really are a good set of speakers. I would not say they are better than my 684's, but for the money, a good speaker. They handle the high end well. Can be a little harsh, but this will soften with a good breaking in.
