Review : Terrific ceiling speakers for music or home theater
I'm using a pair of these in my kitchen along with a pair of R-5650-W II in-wall speakers in the living room next to it. Together they create a nice sound stage for music in the house. I do find that they need a quality 100 watt amp to drive well, don't try dropping some cheap 70w amp on these hoping to get by. Installation was a breeze, especially since the house was pre-wired, just make sure not to get closer than an inch to any studs or joists so the dog legs can fold out and grip the sheetrock as you screw it in.
I think, explains the few complaints on Klipsch CDT-5650-C II In-Ceiling Speaker - Each (White) not fitting or leaking.
