If you do your research for docking speaker devices you'll find less expensive options with excellent reviews. I'm disappointed in the sound vs bulkiness trade off. There are, as other reviews state, 4 settings for different sounds instead of standard bass and treble adjustments. If you treat it as portable don't forget the remote because it will be inoperable.
