I hooked these speakers up to a Pyle 1000 watt amp and they sound great. I have been using 2 Stageworks 100 watt rms 12" pa speakers with the same amp and the Podium Pro speakers blow them away (As i would suspect). I didn't think the 250 x 2 @ 8 ohms would be very efficient but when I plugged them into bridge mode the sound was incredible. Only used them for a day but first impressions were awesome. Highs were clear and crisp probably because of the huge compression tweeter. The mids and lows were also excellent. I experimented with the mixer eq and found that neutral gave a realistic and clean sound. Will try them with a larger amp because I plan to use the inexpensive Pyle as a backup or sub driver. Let's hope the amp defies all those negative responses.
