Review : Great speaker, problems with updating connections for iPhone 5
I bought this unit for wireless listening to sounds from my iPad and iPhone 5. The connections do not fit the new lightning connector, and of course the cheap iPhone 4/5 convertors do not work. So beware if you have a newer Apple product. Currently then I am using it via the audio headphone socket on the back with my Logitech Squeezebox.
The speaker excels in its performance. I had the opportunity of listening to some of the competitors in a local store and was underwhelmed by their crispness and clarity: see some of the other reviews of this product for a more detailed analysis of the sound. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the sound of this unit. It is the most pleasing to me of any of the smaller speakers I have heard. It's small, has a clever carrying handle, easy to move about and because of its rechargable battery it is easy to use anywhere. I thoroughly recommend it.
