These Jamo C607 Floor Standing Speaker (Single, Black) way out perform some other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with low price.
The C 607 floor standing speaker is made of a 3-way bass-reflex construction. It is equipped with two 6" woofers, one 6" midrange and one 1" DTT (Decoupled Tweeter Technology) tweeter. The speaker is, of course, packed with high quality terminals, making it possible to choose bi-wiring and the same reference quality spikes used in the R 909 speaker. The Jamo C607 Floor Standing Speaker gives you convincing, open and very musical sound reproduction. Going down to 32Hz the C 607 categorically proves that it is not necessary to have large woofers to obtain impressive bass reproduction.

Review : Fine speaker BUT with the right matching system
I bought these speakers in Europe with Marantz SR5007 receiver. I auditioned about 6 or 7 different speakers from brands like KEF, Monitor Audio, Cabasse, Wharfedale, Boston Accoustics, Q Accoustics, Dali and perhaps some others. They were all in the price range of $800-1200 a pair. I paid $1000 for these Jamos which included a 21% VAT.
The reason I bought them was because from all speakers in that price range I listened to these sounded rich and with excellent bass response. They are very musical indeed. I auditioned them with this previously mentioned Marantz receiver as my purpose for them was 20% movies and the rest is music. So I also bought some good cables and off I was.
A bit of my experience with them: When I brought them home and hooked them up I immediately felt something was off as they did not sound same as in store. In short they sounded stiff, thin and lacked timbre that I loved so much when I heard them. I spend hours on the internet reading...
I think, explains the few grievance regards Jamo C607 Floor Standing Speaker (Single, Black) not fitting or leaking.
