These Speakercraft AIM Cinema One Pivoting In-wall Cinema Speaker - Each (White) way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me personally are hight quality with cheap price.
The AIM CINEMA One features a pivoting sub-baffle for mid-bass, mid-range, and high frequencies. The first thing I noticed when I opened up the box for these speakers was the beauty of these monsters. There are not many in-walls with 5 speakers contained in a single enclosure at this price range. This was actually the primary reason I originally bought these. I then noticed that the build quality was very solid. The backs of these speakers are heavy duty all business construction.
Installation is a breeze too. The hardest part is running speaker wire. After that, locate your studs and just cut the hole (well, in this case- rectangle), hook up the wire to the speaker posts, then place the speaker in the cutout and screw down the 10 dog-legs. I would recommend using a manual screw driver so as not to over-tighten them and go through the drywall. Then install the grill and you are ready to enjoy the sound as much as much as the look of them!
