Mission moved away from the traditional speaker enclosure with the M-iSphere and M-iSphere mini - hemispherical - designed speakers which contain a single driver engineered to create detailed and complex sound pressure radiation patterns. M-iSphere is the first of Mission’s products to utilize its Linear Reproduction Technology (LRT) - compared to other speaker systems that include a ‘crossover’ to split the frequency, LRT allows a single driver to reproduce a completely linear response to ensure that what comes out of the speaker is exactly the same as what came in.

Review : Great speakers!
As a long time owner of Mission speakers I was happy to see that they entered the "lifestyle" market. The M-ispheres (apparently pronounced hemisphere without the h) are compact little speakers that don't take up much real estate on my desk and look great with a bit of sparkle to the ruby red hue. They were an absolute breeze to hook up and Mission even included a pair of white gloves so as not to get any fingerprints on that beautiful finish during installation. Wall mounts were included but I just use the provided desk stands. I use them both as computer speakers hooked up through a usb port and also as a system for my iPod (Mission includes the cable necessary for iPod integration). The real appeal though is that classic warm Mission sound. The little digital amp puts out some pretty impressive power and the m-ispheres deliver with a crisp and bright sound that really resembles more of a pretty good set of bookshelves. Amazingly, there's a bit of real soundstage to them,...
I think, explains the few gripe apropos Mission Audio M-Isphere Mini Dune 2.0 Compact Loudspeaker System (Red Ruby, 1 Pair) not fitting or leaking.
