Review : Just what I was looking for
I use this box to control 5 sets of speakers throughout my house with one stereo receiver. The connectors in back are very slick. Itt's super easy to set up. You screw the speaker wires to a plug and simply plug into the back of the unit. This makes connecting and disconnecting very easy when the unit is in a rack or cabinet. The push buttons on the front panel allows you to switch on and off tpairs of speakers individually and individual volume knobs allow you to regulate the individual volume. I usually have mine turned all the way up and control the volume through the receiver. These individual faceplate controls are nice as they allow you to regulate sound in specific rooms. I'm very happy with my purchase. I've used it daily for over a year without any issues.
