I added these to my existing Onkyo/Acoustic Research 5.1 surround system. I kept looking for used ARs but finally decided to go new with these. While not inexpensive, they blended into my set up quite nicely, filling the back of the room with details previously not heard, even with 5.1 soundtracks.
They might be a bit of overkill for my use, but they feel solid, look great on my wall, are well made and am positive they will last a lifetime.
